First some windlighty, depth of field-y cheesecake on my Dutchie Gustavian Lesbian edition sex be--, I mean my Dutchie Gustavian Lesbian "photoprop" bed! (/me waves to Miss DME and Charlemagne amongst the admirers of CC Cheesecake)
Yes, I forgot to use the ankle lock! Facepalm moment on my part.
Now for the actual pose stand pictures, still cheesecake though. I think I resemble my friend LDO in this one:
Right then, Erratic Delice set, Bra, thong, suspender belt (garter belt for us Yanks), and suspender brief (brief with built in garters), and stockings (with appliers for Maitreya bodies and Slink feet) Make sure you have the most recent OmniHud 6.1 version of the feet, the stockings require them. I really can't say more about the lingerie other than it's Erratic, which the glamorous sexpot fashionista types at the Chamber seem to wear. The fit is good (erratic lingerie also works on non-mesh bodies if you're close to the standard sizes), and it looks REALLY good. It's frickin shmexy for sure. You can probably guess I have the fatpack.
I wore it with Truth's new Heloisa hair, a shmexy "windblown supermodel" hair and Hucci's Jacmel pumps
But this post isn't really about the lingerie, it's about the body. I've been wearing the Maitreya Lara Body for two months now, and can state that I can recommend the body, with a caveat. That caveat being the lack of fine grained control over the alpha, meaning I can't wear it with some of my mesh items sad to say. One example being the Steffen Garcia Blair.
Otherwise it works well, is relatively easy to use, and has good support amongst third parties.
As you can see, I'm also wearing the Karin head, with League Luna head appliers.
Perhaps I shouldn't have picked it up, since I was iffy about the demo. But a couple of friends had been urging me to go ALL mesh with a mesh head, and I wanted to see how it looked with actual League appliers on it so I held my nose at the price (L$2500, I consider it a bit overpriced at that level, I think a 1200 to 1500 price would be more reasonable), and bought the thing, and both sets of the Luna appliers.
Sadly the Luna makeup works much better with blonde hair than red. And you know how I am about my red hair. The lipsticks need a little more work to be more flattering to a redhead. (As do the Erin makeups) And I'm not sure I like the head, there's something about it when I look at it in profile (from the side) that bothers me. From the front it's gorgeous, but the side....I have mixed feelings.
Also the head had fewer functions than some other ones I have heard of. For example there are only two settings for the mouth, closed and slightly open. Some other heads have animated mouths. Also lash tinting uses a color picker than some standard presets. Another caveat involves the included hairbase applier, there aren't enough colors in it and I don't think my favorite hair makers make a hairbase applier for the head yet.
Sadly because of my mixed feelings on this head, I cannot categorically recommend this head, or the other Lelutka heads....yet. My feelings may change as further updates are made to the head, I hope.
Also, besides LDO, it makes me look like my bacon-loving friend RachelAlivia, who also uses this head, especially with the blonde hair.

SG Bonnie mesh dress, On The Floor at DeMortesville
DeMortesville, is a kink-friendly Modern Dark Fantasy RP community founded by a friend of mine. She had moved the community from it's previous location, to a new location some regions southeast of one of my favorite social venues that we both frequent. I decided to take a look around again. It's a goodly sized community build, taking up most of the region. The Linden Railroad runs right through the middle of it, and there is a pedestrian walkway and narrow road overpasses over the LRR.
I don't do serious RP, so I'm not seriously involved with any RP communities, but I do like wandering and seeing nice builds like DeMortesville. DeMortesville always had one of my other favorite sapphic friendly social venue builds in the Drunken Clam. To tell the truth, I prefer the Clam build to the Duchess build appearance wise, but I think it's more of the atmosphere than anything else. The Clam is a touch more upscale looking, while the Duchess is more blue collar. There are other "venue" type builds set up for various RP scenarios, a sort of a rustic sailor dive, a modern style club, a "nice dressy" restaurant, a classic diner, biergarten, and a tea parlour. I can't forget the church, and bakery either. I had been tempted to set up residence at the old location, but as I said, I don't really do RP so it's not well suited for me.
While visiting the downstairs of the Clam I noticed changes in the stage/runway part of the build (It's much more plush looking) and noticed the "video wall" which had screen captures from J' Lo's "on the floor" video, where she wears some sexy gold ensembles. (The song itself is a cover of the 1989 song Lambada by Kaoma)
And I had this nice gold mesh cocktail dress from SG (Saritha Gabardini) , which I have in 5 colors. I should get the other colors too, it's only L$70. You can't beat prices like that. It may be a template, I don't know for sure, but I don't care, because the texturing is very nice. As far as I know, this creator is Marketplace only.
Dale! (Pronounced "Dah-lay", it means "Bring it on")
The dress has a hemline that is short, but not TOO short, lower thigh. My favorite length for a dress like this. As I've mentioned before, I do believe. Shoes are the Mata Hari sandals from Sax Shepherd.
You'll notice the seaming and the strappy "cap" sleeve. Making it a sort of cross between an off the shoulder dress and a cap sleeve. Nicely done. This is the Truth "Grande" glamour/party hair, the version with both sides draped forward, but it still leaves plenty of foof in back.
Had to take the hair off to get a good picture of the back. Wear an updo or front-draped hair to show off the back. you can also see the sleeves better.
Here's the front, where you can see it's a bandage style in the shape of it. Just simply a great dress to have.
And here it is in black, Hucci "Jacmel's" with the black. This is Truth London hair. It's actually more similar to the hair J' Lo has in the video.
As I said, great cocktail dress well worth the L$70. What are you waiting for, buy!

Boogie Trains and Template Complaints
When I first saw the Liv Glam "Yes sir, I can Boogie" (white/black) and Trains and Winter Rains (multiple color hud) suits, I desired them as a classic suit loving SL fashionista should.
Classic military style belted jacket, slim pencil skirt, what's not to love?
What's not to love? The skirt slit and rigging that's what. The jacket is fine, the jacket is worth acquiring...the skirt not so much. Look at the slit placement. Yes, I know, I should be cheering that it actually HAS a realistic slit, but it would be better if it was centered and not quite so wide. But the real issue is the rigging, notice how the skirt clips into the leg. That effect is worse, the more the legs bend.
Here's a close look at the issue. It's just simply a problem with the rigging...of the template. This outfit is a template so I can't blame the Liv-Glam's designer (SamanthaSJones) for this...other than her choice to use a template that really needed some more tweaks and polish. If the rigging was fixed...I would be recommending this outfit. But as it is, I can't. It's not horrible, and I've worn it out and about, but it does need more work. It's an "almost, but not quite" sort of thing. Which is what I say about Liv-Glam as a design house...with some reluctance: "Almost, but not quite a first tier designer...the work is hit or miss, could use more tweaks/polish/better texture choices, and a second critical eye would do the designer some good. Not horrible, but not spectacular either, especially since it's probably all templates."
For an example of how this skirt SHOULD be rigged, we have to go no further than the classic Maitreya Nolita. THAT is how you rig a slightly below the knee skirt.
I've got a couple of other issues with the Liv-Glam "Boogie/Trains" ensembles. The HUD colors on the multicolor "Trains and winter rains" version don't match the actual on suit colors closely enough. And some of those colors aren't very good choices at all, basically making those colors unusable. Why put unattractive unflattering colors in a HUD? Put colors that ARE attractive in it.
Theres also the fact that the template origin of the Liv-Glam suits are not mentioned and/or credited. A customer might not be aware that they're templates, and thusly not know who else besides Liv-Glam to send suggestions/complaints to. Here's a link to the template on marketplace
Dolphin Designs "The Lady"
It also means that there are most likely other designers using this template that needs more work that I don't know about. I am absolutely of the opinion that Templates need to be credited in the interest of transparency and honesty to one's customers. Use templates all you want, but for goodness sake, credit them.

Deja Vu Dresses, or one of the downsides of mesh templates.
We all know what the concept of Deja Vu is don't we, from Wikipedia:
Déjà vu, (/ˌdeɪʒɑː ˈvuː/) from French, literally "already seen", is the phenomenon of having the strong sensation that an event or experience currently being experienced has been experienced in the past, whether it has actually happened or not.
Let me show you two dresses that gave me that experience, though they are not the only dresses that have given me "Deja Vu" I kept the hair (Wasabi Pills "Claire") and shoes (Hucci "Glynco") minimalistic, and didn't wear jewellery to show off the dresses without distraction
This one is the Roksanda Bodycon dress from Liv-Glam
This one is the Suede draped dress from Cynful.
While the textures are different it's obvious they're from the same sourced template. These two are not the only versions of this template I've seen, it's everywhere. It's a nice dress, but not everyone needs to be making their own version of it.
Let me be blunt. Designers, if you don't do your own mesh, try to use templates that aren't being used by every "Art School Girl" with competent photoshop texture skills out there. Becuase otherwise, we get dozens of variants of the same dress to sort through. Not only that, even though there's a glut of this "slap some nice textures on templates" stuff, it doesn't seem to keep some designers from charging premium prices. If there's a dozen versions of a template dress..you might not want to charge something like L$500 for a single color, perhaps not even L$300.
[UPDATE} For the edification of readers I decided to add the actual prices of each of the dresses:
The Liv-Glam version is L$ 375, and includes six color variants. There is also a floral print-pattern version that also has six variants included for L$375
The Cynful version is L$265 for each individual color.
There's nothing inherently wrong with using templates....the problem is when the same ones are used by a large amount of people, then we get a glut of sameness and lookalikes.
